Eid-el-Kabir: Amere Felicitates with Muslims, Solicits Prayers for Peace

Alhaji Honourable Gafar Akintayo Amere has felicitated with Moslems across the Country, especially those residing in the State of Osun, as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

Honourable Gafar, in a Sallah message released by his Media Office, urged the Moslems to use the occasion to reflect on the lessons of the festival and teachings of the Islamic faith, which emphasize on sacrifice and peace.

He also enjoined the Muslims Ummah in the state to continue to observe the safety protocols of Covid-19 Pandemic, predicated to use of face masks, maintain social distancing, use of hand Sanitizers and constant washing of hands with soap regularly.

While thanking Allah for sparing our lives to witness this year’s sallah celebration, Honourable Amere further enjoined all Nigerians irrespective of their religious belief and Political Inclinations to continue to live in peace and harmony.

The lawmaker who represented Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja in the 7th and 8th Assemblies felicitated with his fellow Moslems and wished them happy and peaceful celebrations.
