Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has warned the world most especially Nigerians to exercise precautions in handling money.
Oluwo affirmed legal tender as the most commonly exchanged item and one of the prevalent means of contacting the deadly virus, imploring individual most especially traders to always use gloves while counting or exchanging naira notes.
As part of the enlightenment measures released by Oluwo through his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, Oba Akanbi cautioned the world populace mostly Nigerians to desist from touching money bare hands but instead with gloves and regular hand washing with sanitizer.

He established and condemned the attitude of salivating hands while counting money as barbaric, cautioned those culpable to desist in the interest of humanity.
“Our interaction with money should be properly guided at this critical time. The dreaded coronavirus could be easily gotten by touching money from an infected person. You don’t have to play with money at this critical time. If you must touch money for any transaction, ensure you use gloves or alternatively, watch your hands regularly. To be safer, it is strongly recommend you combine the two”
“It is better to make an electronic transaction at this critical moment. However, because some local traders are not electronically connected, we cautioned a careful interaction with money with guided measures”
