In a remarkable stride towards improved healthcare, Hon. Biodun Ibrahim St’Abbey, the representative of Ola-Oluwa State Constituency, organized a free medical eye outreach event.
This initiative falls in line with the healthcare framework laid out by His Excellency, Sen. Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, the esteemed Governor of Osun State. The purpose of this outreach was to address the prevalent eye-related challenges faced by the constituents of Ola-Oluwa.
The free medical eye outreach was held on a significant day, Thursday, July 13th, 2023. A team of dedicated experts conducted a range of eye tests, delving into the specifics of each individual’s condition.

The results of these tests were communicated to each beneficiary. Subsequent to the assessments, the beneficiaries were provided with much-needed eyeglasses and, when deemed necessary, underwent surgical procedures.
The anticipation reached its pinnacle on Thursday, August 10th, 2023, as the distribution of eyeglasses to the deserving beneficiaries commenced. Among the dignitaries present was HRM OBA Ismail Gbadamosi Fabunmi, the revered Ola of Ajagunlaase.
In his commendations, he extolled the dedication and compassion exhibited by Hon. Biodun Ibrahim St’Abbey. He lauded Hon. St’Abbey’s efforts, viewing him as not only a legislator who deeply cares for his constituents.
