World Health Day: FILSU Partners SFH to Create Awareness on Reproductive Health Talk

April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. World Health Day is celebrated annually and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.

The 2021 World Health Day will take a new dimension in Iwo land as the Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union (FILSU) will partner with the Society for Family Health (SFH) to present an important program for the youths.

The programme will be organised in commemoration of World Health Day 2021 at Iwo City Hall. The theme of the programme to be discussed is “Life Planning Towards a Healthy Future.

The program is aimed to raise awareness amongst adolescents of life planning. Also, to reduce the incidence of pre-marital sex, teenage pregnancy, STIs, and depression.

The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization, as well as other related organizations.
