The Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, kicked off the inaugural edition of the Telu Cup at the Oluwo Township Stadium in Iwo yesterday; 25th of November 2023.
The soccer competition, entirely and generously sponsored by the monarch, promises substantial prizes for the top three football teams.
The primary objective of the Telu Cup is to discover and promote football talents within Iwoland. With a primary focus on discovering and promoting football talents within the region, the Telu Cup aims to become a key platform for discovering players with international potential.
