2021 Iwo Day: My Dream is to See Iwo Greater Than Lagos – Oluwo

In a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to Oluwo, Alli Ibraheem, Oba Adewale Akanbi felicitate the good people of Iwoland on the 2022 Iwo Day Celebration.

His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi said he is the happiest person for the development Iwo has recorded.

“I specially acknowledge and appreciate God for giving us the grace to witness today. The grace we enjoy in Iwo is as unique as Iwo itself.

This year’s gathering marking the 31st Iwo Day presents an opportunity to celebrate progress, greatness and achievements.

I’m the number one happiest person comparing Iwo of yesterday with today. I rejoice with everyone who is part of the success story as I crave more collaborative effort at piloting Iwo to her promised land.

I must commend the Iwo Board of Trustees (IBOT), Iwo Day Planning Committee, princes, chiefs, all compounds, prospective donors, a federation of Iwoland students union, artisans etc whose involvement is contributing to the success of the 2022 annual event.

Once again, I felicitate and rejoice with us on the occasion of the 31st Iwo Day celebration holding today Saturday 17th December 2022. We shall witness many more of it in sound health and prosperity.” Oluwo concluded.
