Professor Adegboyega Adisa Fawole is a Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Faculty of Clinical Sciences, College of Health Sciences, University of Ilorin. Prof. Adegboyega Adisa’s area of interest is Obstetrician & Gynaecologist.

Oluwo honoured one of his pride from Iwo, Prof. Adisa Fawole, who gave an expository, informative and educative inaugural lecture at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State. The address was the 231st in the series of the renowned University.
Oba Adewale Akanbi commended the university management under her VC, Prof. Egbewole, for the reception. Oluwo also prayed for more wisdom for the inaugural lecturer, Prof. Adisa Fawole.
Also, present at the inaugural is the JAMB registrar, Prof. Isiaq Oloyede, past and current Vice Chancellors of public and private universities, the Chief Medical Director of Teaching Hospitals, Justice Akanbi from Iwo etc.

Delivering the 231st inaugural lecture of the University of Ilorin on Thursday, themed “Reversing Nigerian Women’s Poor Health Indices: Challenges and Prospects” Professor Fawole said, “Specifically, we need to be provided a ‘Radiotherapy centre’ at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital for complete cancer care.”
Professor Fawole stressed the need for a reward, discipline model, adding that the government needs to introduce more incentives for the people working and trading in all sectors of the economy within the country who have refused to travel out under the ‘Japa’ syndrome for greener pastures.
Professor Adegboyega Adisa Fawole has charged the Federal Government to continue its trajectory on the health insurance scheme to cover more of the population.
He has also stressed the need for urgent government support to strengthen the country’s health systems.
