The Osun State Police Command has conferred on the renowned philanthropist and former chairman of Iwo local government, Hon. Sulaiman Akanji Bello (SEEBEE) a peace ambassador award.
The award, according to the Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Olawale Olokode is in recognition of his outstanding positive influence on the community and also his immense contribution towards peace tranquility enjoyed in the state.

Speaking during the Award Presentation which held today at Adebimpe Event Centre Osogbo, Olokode said;
“This is an attestation to your unquantifiable contribution and support for the Police in ensuring peace and progress in the state. We also celebrate you for your immense contribution towards raising a better future for the younger generation.”
In his reaction, Hon. Seebee expresses his delight to the Osun State Police for finding him worthy and being considered for the award.

He also encouraged government and individuals to not relent in pursuit of peace in the state stressing that, the police cannot do it alone.
He said: “I do not take this award for granted and it is a challenge for me to do more in ensuring a crime-free society. I also want to implore the state government and individuals in joining the police to combat crimes in the state as the police cannot do it alone.”
Among the recipients of the Osun 2021 CP’s Award were Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwunsi, Obafemi Awolowo University Vice-Chancellor, Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede, Osun ARGON chairman, Hon. Abiodun Samuel Idowu and many others.
