International Women's Day 2022: FLM Organised a School Tour, Shared Sanitary Pads to Students

The Female Liberation Movement in Iwoland organised a school tour to commemorate the day and shared sanitary pads with students.

There’s no limit to the amount of impact we can make, as women. Dissolving the inequality is not built by discrimination, it can only be achieved when we developed on our strengths, encourage innovation and creativity then give an enabling platform for the exercise of such.

Yesterday was great as delegates from the Female Liberation Movement organized a school tour in commemoration of International Women’s Day.

The delegates led by the convener, Abeeb Nafisat Aleem visited Crowe School, Islahudeen Grammar School and Taawun Group of School where they sensitized the female students on their menstrual health, actualizing their career and feminine impact on contemporary issues like Ritual killings, kidnapping, cyberfraud, and co.

At the end of the session, the organization gave free sanitary pads to the students in the encouragement of a safe cycle.

In the cause of the program, the team also announces their coming Annual Spelling Bee Competition which will commence in the coming weeks. Participants in the competition stand a chance to win a cash prize of ₦50,000 naira and more.

The FLM team was appreciated by members of staff, students and the community for their effort in developing the feminine race.
