The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba AbdulRosheed Adewale Akanbi honours Chief Bisi Akande by attending the Public Presentation of the book on Chief Bisi Akande’s Autobiography in Lagos.
The event, held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, presented a book on the autobiography of Chief Bisi Akande, titled: “My Participations.”
The Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, HIM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, with the first citizen of Nigeria, President Muhammed Buhari, APC national leader, Asiwaju Hammed Tinubu, Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, Lagos State Governor (Babajide Sanwo Olu), Osun State Governor (Gboyega Oyetola), Ekiti State Governor (Kayode Fayemi), Kebbi State Governor (Abubakar Bagudu), Senators, APC Chieftains, Captains of Industries and many dignitaries too numerous to reference.

The book presenter, Alhaji Kashim Ibrahim-Imam (Chairman, board of trustees (BoT) of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND), while unveiling the book enjoined individual and ardent lovers of history to consider the book “a must-read“.
Kashim described Oluwo as a loyal father and friend whose contribution to national issues is monumentally effective most especially on the unity of Nigeria.
Granting an interview shortly after the book presentation, Oluwo described Chief Bisi Akande as a nationalist whose credits will continuously be appreciated.

Oluwo said: “Baba Akande is a figure and nationalist of merits. He guided his integrity and protected his virtues. He has done many things worth reading. His life is also a motivation for every aspiring generation.
“I wish and encourage everyone with goals to get a copy of his latest book ‘my participations’. It is a guide to a well-behaved personality. Baba never attend any university, polytechnic or college of education and he rose to be an accountant. There are many lessons in him. I pray for many more years for him. He is a repository of knowledge” Oba Akanbi concluded.
President Muhammad Buhari, in his remarks, described Bisi Akande as a man of integrity who has played outstanding roles and impacted the country in public service.
