As the state of Osun Marks its 28th Anniversary of Creation, the Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC, in the state, Hon Rasaq Salinsile has congratulated citizens of the state.
In a statement personally signed, Salinsile said efforts of successive governments in the state have placed its development on a rader of continued progress.
He also saluted the courage of the founding fathers who sacrificed a lot for the emancipation of the state.
The former lawmaker also noted that since the inception of the Rauf Aregbesola administration till the present day regime of the Gboyega Oyetola led government, Osun has continued on the path of solid progressive leadership pioneered by the 2nd Executive Governor of the state, Chief Adebisi Akande.
According to him, “Osun in the last 28 years has not fallen short of the founding fathers’ dream as successive governments both military and civilian have contributed immensely to what the state is today.
Salinsile while urging the citizens and residents of the state not to waver in their unalloyed support for the ruling party, reiterated government’s commitment to the protection of lives and property of all and sundry.
He prayed for the success of Oyetola-led administration and prosperous Osun among the comity of states.
