- He studied Business Administration at the University of Benin.
- He was elected as a councillor in Iwo Local Government in 1988.
- Sheu was appointed as Local Government Supervisor in 1991.
- He was the state Chairman of the Alliance for Democracy (AD).
- He was the pioneer state Chairman of the Action Congress (AC).
- Alhaji Moshood Adeoti also served as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) under the Administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
- Adeoti was the governorship candidate for ADP in the 2018 election.
- Adeoti was also a governorship candidate under the APC political party in the just concluded 2022 primary election.
