The Chairman of the Ansarudeen youth in Iwo, Mr. Abdulganiy Ahmad, has urged his fellow Muslim brothers and sisters across the country to allow peace to lead ahead of the next 2023 presidential election.
While addressing the audience, he described a “free and fair election” as an inimical tool for collectively deciding the fate of the country. He said it comes with a price, which rests to a large extent upon the shoulders of the youth.
Also, he said that the course is not forbidden in Islam as long as the youth participate in the electoral services of the country.

However, it is essential we all ensure the utmost sincerity and orderliness in every sector in which we find ourselves, he added.
As it is also upon us to ensure our protection in this period, together with the protection of family and friends, we should endeavor to strive towards that which will be beneficial to the Nigerian Muslim community.
Mr. Abdulganiy Ahmad urged the youths not to discriminate in choosing a good candidate!
He said: “Let’s not discriminate in our choosing! Let’s not be biased! Let’s strive with fear of Allah! Above all, let’s consider the betterment of all in all we do, he concluded.
