Telu FC of Iwo has been crowned champions of the maiden edition of the Osun Community Unity Cup 2026, following a hard-fought victory over Dokkal Khairu FC of Ile-Ifẹ in the Final Match.
The historic triumph sees the Oluwo Boys become the first-ever champions of the prestigious competition organised by the Osun State Football Association.
Their road to glory was nothing short of outstanding.

The Iwo-based side defeated Hommyday FC of Osogbo in the quarterfinals, overcame AAYK FC of Ilesha in the semi-finals, and sealed the title with a memorable win against Dokkal Khairu FC of Ile-Ifẹ in the final.

Reacting to the remarkable achievement, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba AbdulRosheed Adéwálé Akanbi, Telu I, congratulated the team for making Iwoland proud. The monarch praised the players, coaches and management for their resilience, discipline and determination, describing the victory as a proud moment for the entire Iwoland.
