Iwoland continues to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its sons and daughters as Arc. Akinbola Muneer Adeshina (MNIA), an Iwo-born professional from Ọlọta Compound, has officially attained the prestigious status of a Registered and Chartered Architect.
On 8th June 2026, Arc. Akinbola was formally inducted into the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON), marking the successful completion of years of academic excellence, professional dedication and commitment to the architectural profession.

In his quest to become a registered architect, he furthered his education by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) before earning both his Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Master of Science (MSc) degrees from Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State.
Beyond his academic accomplishments, Arc. Akinbola has demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to student development. He served as the Electoral Chairman of the Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union (FILSU), Federal Polytechnic Ede Chapter, in 2004 and later as President of the National Association of Osun State Students, Yaba College of Technology, in 2009.
