His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu 1, the Oluwo of Iwoland, has penned a moving tribute to his late mother, Sikirat Adebimpe, 30 years after her passing.
Reflecting on her impact and legacy, the Oluwo of Iwoland, Ọba Adéwálé Akanbi expressed his love and gratitude for her prayers, which continue to shape the lives of her children.
The monarch spoke of her kindness and the indelible legacy she left behind, not only for her family but for humanity at large.

Oluwo acknowledged the deep void her absence has left, while praising her eternal presence through the fruits of her labours (her children). Ọba Adéwálé Akanbi remembered the lasting legacy and prayers of his late mother.
In his words, Oluwo said:
“30 years ago, an unannounced visitor visited and took my sweet mother, Sikirat Adebimpe. I’ve strong conviction your prayers for your children were granted.
“Your memory is sweet. It would have been sweeter had you been alive to witness the wonders of your fruits (Children).”
“You left an indelible legacy to the advantage of your children and humanity. We have many testimonies in reference to your kind-hearted spirit. We will continue to miss you mum.”
