The Ambassadors of Iwoland, a charitable organization in Iwoland, distributes writing materials to orphanage homes and unions in Iwoland. A 1 day community development programme tagged “Education for all” held at FILSU Secretariat, New garage, Iwo. A programme aims at equipping orphans and the vulnerable in all the 3 local governments in Iwoland.
Prince Jide Osunwo, Akintunde Saheed Democrat, Yusuff Mutallub Ola-Gold, Former Governorship Aspirant Osama, and others were present at the event.
Akintunde Saheed popularly known as Democrat who was one of the guest speakers deliverer a highly captivating, thought-provoking, intelligently drafted and brilliantly dispatched to the audience. Speaking about we all caused the retrogressiveness of our community and said we are as well the solutions to make the community progress and be great again. Yusuf Muttalub Ola-Gold as one of the guest speakers also lauded the charitable organization for the initiative and said was proud of the founder of the initiative.
Some comrades and members of Federation of Iwoland Students’ Union were present at the event especially the President Akinkunmi Iromini, the vice president and newly elected Speakers. Field Marshall was also represented at the event.
After the lectures, the Ambassadors of Iwoland distributed writing materials to orphanage homes present, the student union bodies and sister union.
While releasing a statement, the charitable organization through one of his members said; they believe education is the most weapon or tool every child should be equipped with. He said; they believe investing on education or knowledge seeking brings the best returns.
The representative of one of the orphanage homes commended the charitable organization for such an amazing program me and said the future of the kids will be bright if we can all come together to make our society better than this.
