The Taawun Political Forum had towards cushioning the effect of Covid-19 as well as unraveling the aftermath of Endsars looting that arrest the peaceful coexistence of Iwoland in particular and Osun State some months ago, shared Covid-19 relief packages to indigent members in Iwo.
If we can recall, during the Endsars Protest, inhabitants of the State had resorted to Jungle justice, bursting covid19 palliatives warehouse, an extension of which caused looting witnessed in Iwo, of which the Iwo Local Government Secretariate was not left out.
The Forum which was an initiative of Jama’atu Taawunil Muslimeen to checkmate elections into public offices in Nigeria had carryout this, as part of her agenda to cater to the masses.

Expressing his satisfaction with the distribution of the packages, the Chairman Taawun Political forum, Comrade Abideen Muslim said they were able to share the little they have gotten.
“We were only given 74 bags and it has been shared to all Wards in the Five Political Zones in Iwo Local Government,” he said.
He added that: “Government and Charitable private organization should do more to improve the livelihood of the people of Nigeria at this trying time of the second wave of the pandemic coronavirus.”
