The Oluwo of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Ọba AbdulRosheed Adéwálé Akanbi, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello, describing it as a monumental loss to the global Muslim Society.
In a heartfelt condolence message, Oluwo commiserated with the cleric’s immediate family and the Muslim ummah, highlighting the late Sheikh’s commitment to truth and his exemplary dedication to Islam.
“Sheikh Muhydeen was a pious and dedicated Muslim who preached the truth and stood by it until his last breath,” the Oluwo stated.

“He symbolised nothing but the truth, regardless of who was involved. His kind is unparalleled in the preaching realm.”
Oluwo urged the family of the deceased to see his passing as a moment to celebrate a life well-lived. He remarked, “He had a fulfilled life. This is not a time for mourning but rather for thanksgiving for his remarkable journey. He left behind enviable legacies.”
Concluding his message, the Oluwo prayed for the forgiveness of the late Sheikh’s shortcomings and for his soul to find eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
Sheikh Muhydeen Ajani Bello was widely revered for his profound teachings and steadfastness in upholding Islamic principles. His death has created a vacuum too challenging to fill, leaving the Muslim Ummah in profound grief.
