You assumed the role of Chief Imam during a pivotal time, as I worked tirelessly to reclaim the glory of Iwo. Your commitment has been unwavering, and I have no regrets in appointing you as the Grand Chief Imam of Iwoland.

Once again, I rejoice with you for being the first Imam in Iwoland to attain this academic height. You have brought honour to your lineage (Akinlewa’s Compound), to Islam, to Iwoland, and to Osun State. You are also an inspiration to many clerics, as not many Imams can boast of a PhD. History will be kind to you.”
