The Iwo-born female entrepreneur, Hon. Maryam Balogun, who is the CEO of HMB interior & exterior decoration and also the founder of HMB foundation has bagged the Osun Youth Ambassador Award of excellence in entrepreneurship.
OYAA is an annual event to appreciate various youths who are doing fine in their various field or industry. The 2021 edition features Hon Maryam Balogun as one of the award recipients.

The 2021 edition lecture series organized by the youth reformers initiative was delivered by Professor Siyan Oyeweso of Department of History and International studies of Osun State University (UNIOSUN).
The award, according to the organisers, was in recognition of Hon Maryam Balogun significant efforts in the entrepreneurship arena.

Maryam who dedicated the award to Almighty Allah and her lovers described the honour as “an invitation to continue to do more and better.”
Maryam said: “Entrepreneur is the most crucial aspect of Development in a nation.
Hon Maryam commended the organisers of the award said this kind of initiative will encourage the osun youths to do more better and contribute in providing solutions to the issues in this country.

The award of excellence in entrepreneurship was presented to Maryam Balogun by Prof Oyeweso Siyan of the Department of History and international studies, Osun State University.
The Olowu of Owu kuta, Oba Makama, lauded Maryam’s efforts and her passion in the entrepreneurial sector.
The monarch described her as a giant stride and advised the upcoming youths to emulate her.
Oba Makama said the contribution of Maryam Balogun in human development and entrepreneur renaissance made her eminently qualified for the award.
