A proud moment for Iwoland as our very own broadcaster, MC, and sports journalist, Mike Halim Olumiko, also known as ‘MC Olumiko,’ emerges the winner of the prestigious Master of Ceremony (MC) of the Year Award at the 2024 LEAD Awards in Ondo State.
The talented broadcaster, sports journalist and exceptional Master of Ceremony was recognised for his unique and outstanding event-hosting skills that continue to set him apart.
Out of 10 impressive nominees, MC Olumiko emerged victorious, making Iwoland proud once again.

The Leadership Excellence and Dignity Awards (LEADS Awards), which took place on 15th December at the Dome, Alagbaka Akure, celebrate remarkable individuals and brands contributing to the development of Ondo State.
Adding to this achievement, MC Olumiko also bagged the “Outstanding Achievement in Broadcasting” award from Giant Star Entertainment® a few weeks ago.
In his acceptance speech, Mike Halim Olumiko expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organisers, stating: “It is a call to duty, and one must do more going forward. This award already feels like a Balloon d’Or in my hand.”
