After receiving the prestigious Award of Merit and Scientific Excellence at the Hamsa Literature and Arts Festival in Cairo, Egypt, the Iwo-born distinguished scholar, Professor Khidr AbdulBaaqi Muhammad, has returned to Nigeria.
It was a beautiful homecoming as Prof Khidr was warmly received at Islaudeen Islamic Arabic School, a historic institution founded by the late revered Sheikh AbdulBaaqi Muhammad Baba Olukọ Agba.

The reception was led by The Wazeer Of Yoruba Land, Sheikh Yahqub AbdulBaaqi Muhammad, who is the current Director of the school and also a proud legacy of Baba Olukọ Agba.
Prof Khidr AbdulBaaqi Muhammad’s achievements, leadership and dedication to Arabic studies have brought immense pride to Iwoland and Africa at large.
The same award had once been given to the late Sheikh Adam Abdullahi Al-Alory (Ilorin), returning now to the lineage of Sheikh AbdulBaaqi Muhammad Baba Olùkọ Àgbà.
